Become an EFFA member!
Everyone is very welcome to become a member of the European Fly Fishing Association! Join us, no matter if you are a fly fisher, a fly tyer, an instructor or guide, a conservationist or just someone who wants to be part of an organisation whose members have one thing in common: They love fly fishing and want to help to spread the spirit of their passion among all anglers to make them being part of our big family.
Discounts:
EFFA membership helps to provide you with a good and professional start into fly fishing. Some fly casting instructors offer discounts for EFFA members who attend their courses. Interested in salmon fishing with double hand rods? EFFA members get a 10 % discount on the official prices at the Orkla near Meldal(Spinnler Flyfishing).

There are different categories of membership in the European Fly Fishing Association:

The different kinds of membership:
Single member
Everyone can become a single member. In countries where EFFA councils were set up EFFA membership for residents of theses countries is only possible via the EFFA council in the country.

Instructor/Guide (for instructors & guides only)
For becoming an EFFA fly casting instructor or guide it is necessary to pass the EFFA Flycasting Instructor or EFFA Guide Exam. If you haven't been a single member before attending the exam you need to become an EFFA member after the test to get the rights to use the EFFA trademarks. If you are interested in taking part in an exam, please have a look at the demands and the next dates.

Instructors, guides or single members can found an EFFA council in their country. This national EFFA council has to be organised as an official club and the aims of the organisation have to correspond with those in the EFFA bylaws. EFFA supports such foundations and offers special benefits for EFFA councils. The membership dues for members in these council are up to the councils themselves but instead of the whole amount of € 25 for instructors/guides and € 15 for single members the EFFA councils only have to send € 10 for the single member and € 15 for the instructor/guide to EFFA. Affiliate members
If a club or an organisation wants to support EFFA 's interests and ideas it can become an affiliated member. In this case the club has to apply for membership and send a profile of the club as well as their bylaws to the EFFA office. If the aims of your organisation correspond with those of EFFA you can apply for an affiliation membership.
However, EFFA reserves the right to refuse an application without specifying the reasons. apply here

Do you want to become an EFFA sponsor?
You are very welcome to support EFFA as a sponsor. An EFFA sponsor has the right to have his banner placed on the EFFA website. You can either support EFFA as a sponsor by paying the sponsorship dues(€ 500.-/year) or act as a sponsor through a sponsor contract(tackle,…). If you want to become an EFFA sponsor please ask for more information.
