First Dutch annual EFFA Meeting
On the 7th of November the Dutch members of the EFFA held their meeting at Bidinghuizen.
More than half of the EFFA members came to the speedskating and troutfishing facility Flevonice in central Holland.
The day started at 10 o'clock . After a welcome by chairman Bas de Bruin the meeting started with the congratulation to Richard Verbeek who became a father of a beautiful daughter named Vlinder. The Dutch word for butterfly. Bas presented him some gifts on behalf of all members. In the meeting they had a serious discusion about the purpose of the organisation in world of Flyfishing in Holland.
At 11.30 o'clock the workshops began. Sepp and Bas did a double handed programme. Richard and Cees presented switch and trick casting. Many participants learned some new skills and improved there casting abilities.
After lunch there was a second round of workshops.
There also was the opportunity to fish during the day. The results were disappointing. Only a fews succeeded to catch some fish. At the end of the day they enjoyed a common drink and looked back on a successful event.
