Important information:
A maximum of 8 candidates will be accepted for each exam(first-come-first-serve). In order to grant a fair and regular exam we unfortunately cannot accept further candidates. We thank you for your acceptance.

EFFA reserves the right to cancel or to move the date of exams at any time without specifying the reasons. If an exam is cancelled/moved all the pre-paid money will be paid back. EFFA is not liable for any other costs or circumstances connected with the cancellation or the change of the date of an exam.

Please bring your bank receipt for the transfer of the exam fee with you when attending an exam.

I agree that I can only use the EFFA instructor or guide titles as well as the logos and trademarks as an active EFFA member. These titles loose their validity as soon as the membership is cancelled. If an instructor is not active any more the Board can refuse the automatic annual renewal of the certificate.

general information:

At the moment it is not necessary to be an EFFA member to go for the certificate.
After you have successfully passed the exam you have to become an EFFA member to obtain the rights to use the name EFFA, the logos and trademarks. The annual EFFA member fee is EUR 15.-- for the first year and EUR 25.-- for the following years.
After having passed the exam and joined EFFA the instructor receives an EFFA instructor certificate and an instructor patch.
Insurance is the candidate´s concern.

The EFFA instructor exam is taken according to the EFFA certification rules which have to be followed.

The exam fee is EUR 100.-- and has to be transferred to the following banking connection three weeks before the exam latest(no direct payment at the location of exam). You can also use PayPal(see further below).

Pay your certification fee with PayPal!

If you have got a PayPal Account you can use PayPal to pay your certification fee.

By using PayPal you can save money because no other transfer costs will be added. Only EFFA who receives the money is to pay to PayPal. To compensate these costs and to make sure that the full certification fee reaches our account the PayPal certification dues are slightly higher than the official certification dues which you pay when using online banking. But as already mentioned, with PayPal you are not paying any bank transfer costs. Therefore a Paypal transfer is usually much cheaper than an online transfer via online banking.
