EFFA Fly Tying Team at the Aqua-Fisch

It is meanwhile well known that there are not only excellent fly casters but also very well known fly tiers in our organisation. At the Aqua-Fisch 2009 an EFFA fly tying team consisting of fly tiers from Germany and Switzerland carefully chosen by fly tying chairman Mario Malarczuk was showing the visitors their great skills. They liked our tiers patterns very much and so the fly tying tables were always heavily frequented. During three days the EFFA fly tiers gave the visitors background information on how to improve the tying efficiency and they showed the crowd the tricks which professional fly tiers use when tying for their own. Besides these fly tying demonstrations the visitors could also participate in an EFFA fly tying contest. The participants - most of Werner Steinsdorfer, Jürgen Sigel, Theo Atanassov, Winfried Fülle and Marco Crippa could finally congratulate the winners. THe participation of the EFFA fly tying team at the Aqua-Fisch was a great success and will hopefully be continued next year.
