EFFA Fly Tying Contest Aqua-Fisch 2009

The EFFA Fly Tying team with the winners of the fly tying contest

In March 2009 the EFFA-Fly Tying team was showing their skills at the Aqua-Fisch in Friedrichshafen. As there were many of our excellent fly tieers at site EFFA organized a fly tying contest for the fair visitors. Especially the yound fly tiers took the chance for going for the nice prices that were waiting for the winners. There first price was a 10 ft. Vision fly rod and the second price was a TT fly line. Many more valuable prices were to be won. The contest was sponsered by the companies HURCH Fly Fishing, Rudi Heger, LOOP Austrian Outdoor Sports, Guideline -Taki Alvanos and Armin Pijawetz. On Sunday in the afternoon the flies were judged by the international jury consisting of Theo Atanassov, Werner Steinsdorfer, Marco Crippa, Winfried Fülle and Jürgen Sigel.

Finally they could congratulate the winners. In addition to the sponsored items the first 10 of them received nice certificates. Those who were not present on Sunday were sent their prices via postal service.
