The Executive Department (ED)
The Executive Department is the highest authority of the European Fly Fishing Association( EFFA ). It manages the Association according to its responsibilities defined in the bylaws. The ED consists of the president, the vice-president, the secretary, the treasurer and the financial controllers as well as the representatives of the member countries and the chairmen of the EFFA subsections.
The EFFA subsections
The subsections of EFFA try to manage their field of activity in a more or less autonomous way. This means they build their own structures inside the subsection to make the subsection work in the most efficient way. The members of these subsections elect their chairman who represents the subsection in the ED.
The National EFFA Councils
The main aim of the Association is the foundation of as many national councils as possible. These councils are loose organisations who should try to offer different activities for the EFFA members of the ircountry. The representative of each council represents the interests of his country in the Executive Department of EFFA . Before joining a national council it is necessary to become a direct EFFA member. After that the national council can be joined. The membership in a national council is voluntary.
The Single Members / Instructors/ Guides
The ideas and opinions of the single members, instructors and guides are forwarded to the Executive Department via their representatives in their countries or their national councils. The members have the possibilities to bring in their abilities by actively participating in one ore more EFFA subsections.
