Tying instructions

An easy to tie nymph for imitating mayfly larvae. The body made of pheasant tail fibers gets a very natural look under water. The fly is tied in sizes 10-22, depending on the season and on the water. For our waters in the Bregenzerwald I recommend the sizes 12, 14 or 16. With this nymph I have experienced great catches in mountain streams and rivers like the Bregenzer Ach, Subersach but also my waters in Germany the Untere Argen and last year in Bosnia.

By using a tungsten bead for weighting, you can also reach deeper holes and the nymph sinks quickly even in faster water
