F Fly
Tying instructions
Simple tying method of a snake. For the body I use ultra chenille (tan). The legs are made of badger hair. The front body is formed with a hen's hackle and brown foam.
For the wings, Antron or similar artificial material can be used which I attach in one piece with cross twisting. Wings can be painted as desired and singed at the tips with a lighter and flattened at the same time. They can also be prepared to the correct length before tying.
It is important that the rear body and the wings remain movable so that the fly does not "propeller" and twist the leader tip during casting.
