Tying instructions
1.
Place a basic wrap to the hook bend. Apply a drop of glue to the front half of the hook shank and quickly lay the lead coil. Leave some space to the hook eye to finish the nymph properly. Additionally secure the lead winding with cross windings.

Include the fibres of the pheasant feather as tail. Tie down to about half of the lead winding and bring the tying thread back to the hook bend. Leave the excess fibre overlap.

Pluck out the dubbing brush on the first few millimetres in order to be able to integrate it flat. Bring the thread to half of the lead winding. The position should be the same as in step 2.

Wrap the dubbing brush firmly up to the tying thread. Securing, cutting and tie off properly. Bring the body into shape with scissors if desired.

Move the tying thread in front of the fibres and insert the second dubbing brush - also pluck out before applying.
6.
Wrap the dubbing brush until just before the eye, 2-3 turns. Securing, cutting and tie off properly. Brush it out a little if necessary.

All material that is standing upwards should be pressed downwards or sideways with the fingers. The fibres of the pheasant feather are folded forward and secured with the tying thread.
8.
Place the thread in front of the fibres and finish with a Whip Finisher. Leave about 5mm of the fibres in place and cut off the rest. Apply some varnish to the head, the place where the fibres were tied down and the wing sheath.
