An international organization needs good structures. To ensure that the European Fly Fishing Association (EFFA) can work efficiently and that the members have the opportunity to actively contribute, the EFFA is divided into different departments that try to carry out their tasks as professionally as possible.

The Managing Board
European Fly Fishing Association
The Managing Board is responsible for the business of the European Fly Fishing Association. It is elected by the delegates for a period of three years. It manages the organization according to the Statutes on which it is based. The Board is composed of the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Membership Secretary and the Treasurer.

Assembly
Highest authority
The General Assembly consists of all members.
It elects the delegates every three years.
Each member has one vote.
The elected delegates then elect the Managing Board.
This ensures that the interests of the members are taken into account in accordance with the bylaws and the Swiss law on which they are based.

The delegates
The delegates are elected directly every three years by the members of each member country, provided that at least three members reside in that country. The other countries are combined in the pool and represented by their delegates. The task of the Assembly of Delegates is to elect the Managing Board. All delegates have a seat in the EFFA Advisory Board and communicate periodically with the Board.
