Tribute to Daniele Di Fronzo

President of EFFA Fly Fishing Association (2014–2024)

For more than eleven years, Daniele Di Fronzo has led the EFFA Fly Fishing Association with fairness, integrity, and exceptional dedication, guiding the organization through both prosperous and challenging times.

Throughout his presidency — the longest in the history of EFFA — Daniele consistently placed the Association above all else. He represented EFFA with distinction at numerous national and international events, always promoting its values and strengthening its reputation within the global fly-fishing community.

Under his leadership, the Association experienced remarkable growth, significantly increasing its membership across many countries. Equally important, he reinforced the relationships with Country Delegates, fostering unity, collaboration, and mutual respect among all members.

Daniele Di Fronzo has been a unifying figure — a leader capable of bringing together the diverse aspects of the Association: its people, its projects, and its mission. Through his balanced and inclusive approach, he ensured that EFFA remained not only an organization of anglers, but a true community bound by shared passion and purpose.

Even as his presidency comes to an end, Daniele will continue to be an integral part of EFFA, offering his experience and support to help guide the new generations who will carry the Association forward. His commitment to mentoring and collaboration will remain a source of inspiration and strength for all who share his vision.

In recognition of his outstanding service, his vision, and his enduring contribution to the Association, the EFFA Board of Directors has unanimously decided to appoint Daniele Di Fronzo as Honorary President of EFFA, and to include him among the distinguished list of Honorary Members.

This decision stands as a sincere acknowledgment of his remarkable work and as an inspiration to future EFFA members who aspire to make a meaningful contribution within the Association.
