Double Hand Instructor

The EFFA Double Hand Instructor Certification Program consists of two parts. You can either try to become an EFFA Double Hand Instructor in Longline Technique ("Spey") or an EFFA Double Hand Instructor in Underhand Technique (UH). So everyone can choose the EFFA Double Hand Instructor Certificate with the equipment and technique he uses at home. Of course, it is absolutely necessary, and also a part of each of the two programs, to have a good knowledge of the principles and technique of the other program.

The term longline technique was chosen because of the problems and misunderstandings that have come up in the last decade, mainly due to the mixing of the term and the casting principles of the Classic Spey Technique, and is now called Spey Casting. In our opinion, the term longline technique describes much better today's hybrid techniques, which are used with longlines.
The questions in the theoretical part are not complete. Our examiners can of course ask additional questions to make sure that the future instructor really is understanding his business well.
